Timing

Our daily schedule is designed for children who may be attending one of Rockaways surf camps. The idea is that kids will be able to sail and surf in the same day and have enough time in between activities to allow for lunch and transport.

Children may get dropped off for sailing up to 20 minutes before start of the session.

Foul Weather

We still convene if it's raining or too windy to sail.

Shoreside workshops take place in and around the boatshed where we focus on reviewing topics pertinent to boating and our local environment, along with knot tying, charting, video learning, art projects and kid friendly nautical movies.

High wind but still sunny days offer the possibility to explore the trails and coastlines of nearby Rockaway Community Park by foot and/or utilize the parks manicured sports fields for a friendly game of capture the flag and tug of war.

Financial Assistance

We offer a limited amount financial assistance to children from families in need. Please reach out to us if you think you qualify. Register by emailing us before May 20th 2026 to be eligible.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations initiated 30 days or more before their start date are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations initiated less than 30 days before the start date and more than 15 days before the start date will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made less than 15 days before the start date will not receive a refund.
*Cancellations of rescheduled reservations will not receive a refund.

​Rescheduling is at any point is an option IF there is availability for alternate dates.
Rescheduling within 15 days of the booking will incur a $40 rescheduling fee.
