Please take note that this beach is part of a wildlife preserve and therefore an ecologically sensitive area. To help preserve the wildlife there, we asks that all guests stay below the high tide water mark and refrain from interacting with any plants or wildlife.
The area is largely unmaintained and in which hazards do exist, such as sharp objects on the ground and strong currents in the water. Sail Rockaway provides all guests with a specific rundown of the immediate area and what to be aware of. Please exercise caution.
Our sailing schedule for this offering typically revolves around low tide when the beach is most large. Only 3-6 hours exists each day wherein the tide is low enough to expose the beach. As such, we have very limited times to go there.
