Our base of operations is within Marina 59; a full service boatyard with bathrooms and showers. Our yard is secure with members-only gate access and cc monitors. Members of the marina take pride in the hidden gem that exists here at 360 Beach 59th street.

Our immediate body of water is known as Somerville Basin; a cove that boasts good protection from strong winds, currents and chop. Soft shorelines line 95% the cove.

Beyond the basin is greater Jamaica Bay where not far exists a peaceful array of small bays, creeks, beaches, marshes and parkland. Not to mention lots of wildlife ranging from birds, turtles, seals, crabs, leaping fish and the occasional dolphin!

We have low boat traffic in the eastern section of Jamaica Bay which helps foster a calm learning environment. Located off the beaten path, a fair distance from the marinas westward, its typical to see no more than 5 other boats on any given weekday. We also have consistent southerly winds that  groom our section of the bay for some smooth sailing.
